Alan: Alan Snel is a journalist who took 6 1/2 years off from his daily newspaper career to create a bicycle store alliance in Tampa Bay to grow bicycling as a healthy lifestyle and as an effective mode of transportation. He returned to daily newspaper journalism in Las Vegas, working as a business writer covering the business of sports and stadiums for the Las Vegas review-Journal.
